The Wisconsin Zeta chapter of Sigma Phi Epsilon was originally founded in 1970. In the nearly fifty years since SigEp has undergone a great deal of hardship, the chapter is now as healthy as ever, consistently boasting the highest GPA of all fraternities on campus, surpassing even the university undergraduate average in this past semester.
Notable SigEp events include our annual pumpkin patch bash (Fall), and SigEp Stands Up to Mental Illness comedy night (Spring). All proceeds from these events go to the National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI).
Brothers also enjoy spending time together while studying, eating meals, and relaxing. Despite not having an official house on campus, several of the older brothers in the chapter live together in off-campus apartments showcasing the family-like ties of brotherly love they have for one another.
