The Executive Board of Sigma Phi Epsilon at Marquette University attended the Carlson Leadership Academy this weekend. These men were our President Michael McDonald, our VP of Programming Grant Shaeffer, our VP of Finance Brent Silverman, our VP of Member Development Liam Roder, our VP of Recruitment Greg Makowski, our VP of Communications Jack Landis, and our Chaplain Michael Hensel.

At this event our brothers were put into contact with other brothers in their positions from all over the Midwest in small group activities led by alumni from around the region. In these meetings our brothers learned new skills on how to better lead their Chapter back at Marquette.

In between these meetings during when meals were provided awards were given to Chapter’s who have done exceptional work with their fraternity. Our Chapter received such an award, the Excelsior Award for Member Development. We were humbled to have been presented with this award and look forward to returning back to Marquette to share what we have learned with the rest of our Chapter.
